• Free software updates for one year after purchase protects your investment with new features and improvements.
• Comes factory installed with up to five software modules of your choice so that you can use it "out of the box" without a computer.
• Make and save field recordings up to four minutes long. These recordings can then be uploaded and played on your computer. Recordings can also be re-analyzed by the module software so you can see the identification results again.
• High-pitch shifter mode for people with high-frequency hearing loss shifts high-pitched birdsong down an octave when heard through the headphones (while leaving lower frequency sounds unchanged). In this mode, pre-recorded birdsong recordings are also shifted for apples-to-apples comparision.
• Display names of species in alphabetical or taxonomical order (in English or Latin).
