New firmware for iOS Echo Meter Touch 2 Pro to fix an issue with some units
Dear Echo Meter Touch 2 Pro (iOS) Customers,
We have recently become aware of an issue with some Echo Meter Touch 2 Pro modules for iOS. In a
small number of units sold this year, the data stream has an issue which results in recordings containing a mirror image of lower frequencies in the higher frequency range as shown in the screenshot below:
We have submitted a new version of the Echo Meter Touch app to Apple that includes a firmware update for the Pro module. We expect it will be available in the App Store by early next week. When it is available, simply update the app on your device(s) and plug in the EMT module. The app will then automatically update the module as needed. Do not unplug the module during the update. If the process runs for over one minute and is still processing (i.e. you see a spinning wheel) please do the following:
- Unplug the module
- Close the Echo Meter Touch app
- Plug in the module again
- Launch the app and allow it to do the update again.
