Out of the box, the SMART System can be plugged into an AC power source, and it comes with the necessary cables to do so. The system can also be powered with a solar panel and a 12V battery (not included). Solar panel and battery size will depend on length of deployment, and light conditions which in turn depend on geographic location, season, and any shading the area receives.
