The following fixes and updates are included as part of v1.3.9

  • Log files:
    • Add CSV headers to mic log files
    • Changed organization of mic log file output line
    • Fixed: Alerts log file filled up with processing message every minute
    • Fixed: “undefined variable $log” message in log file
  • Fixed: SMART Mics appeared as "missing" when systems were starting up on occasion
  • Fixed: OPC Alarm did not trigger when unplugging one of the 2 mics
  • Fixed: GUANO metadata reported incorrect system software
  • Add Pre-Trigger and Post-Trigger durations to recording metadata
  • Fixed: Daily emails not getting to users with gmail.com addresses

1.3.8 (2026-02-26)

  • Bug Fixes/Enhancements:
    • Fixed bug where “Unknown” Microphone Calibration Status displayed in Maintenance Emails
    • Fixed bug whereby some OPC UA events not generated for system and microphone conditions
    • Fixed OPC nodeids that changed from 1.3.6 to 1.3.7

1.3.7 (2025-11-3)
  • OPC UA: Microphones are now accessible from OPC Schema.
  • Support new/updated Wi-Fi Module from manufacturer
  • Bug Fixes/Enhancements:
    • The Devices page no longer displays the System Log output box (area in dashed box)
    • Fix ability to disable Wi-Fi from SMART Control Panel
    • Reduce verbose log output in alerts log file
    • The controller system name is prepended to log files (alerts, scada, daily)
    • Placed limits on size of system log files. Logs are pruned at daily maintenance schedule.
    • More log files are included in the Diagnostic Dump file

1.3.4 (2024-11-12)
  • New Feature: Send Email Alerts on certain conditions such as disk space low, microphone missing
  • Improved formatting for daily maintenance emails
  • Added an optional Minimum Frequency for the CF Filter
  • Generating a dump file now sends it directly to your web browser’s download folder.
  • Reorganized the UI on the Settings Profile page
  • OPC UA: Fix Alarm binding so access returns the correct value.

1.3.3 (2024-05-08)
  • Fix an issue whereby the Voltage is not getting displayed on the Devices page on some SMART Controllers
  • Feature: Add a Hold Period setting for Pass/Pulse alarms on the SCADA tab. This parameter indicates the time that alarms are held active before clearing, separate from the "Pass/Pulse Period". The alarm will stay active for at least the "Pass/Pulse Alarm Hold" period.

1.3.2 (2024-04-10)
  • Fix support for PTC's KEPServerEX OPC Software by enabling username/password for initial authentication.
  • Calibration values on daily email were showing up as "unknown - no file" after upgrading to v1.3.1. This has been corrected.
  • Corrected the default for the 'Keep Drive Mounted' option

1.3.1 (2024-03-14)
  • In addition to updates from v1.2.5:
  • Version 1.3.1 adds support for OPC UA Communications with client applications as a means to retrieve system information and subscribe to bat pass/pulse alarms. A full description is available in the SMART OPC UA User Guide Addendum.
  • Adds a new utility smart-bat-sim as a test tool to simulate bat pass/pulse alarms. See the man-page after installing for usage details.
  • Change email address displays in the Administration and Maintenance pages to allow for easier viewing when there are multiple addresses.
  • Adds a new option Keep Drive Mounted to the Maintenance page. When enabled, then a connected USB drive will remain mounted after maintenance tasks have completed.
