Is My Computer Compatible with Kaleidoscope Software?

Kaleidoscope software will run on most current generation computers. If you intend to process large data sets, we recommend using a computer with as many fast processing cores and as much RAM as possible.

For the best performance, all data should ideally be processed from a hard drive or solid state drive installed in the same computer that is running Kaleidoscope. A directly connected external hard drive can also be used. Files should not be processed over a network or to or from an SD card, or any other slow external storage medium.

Kaleidoscope is supported on Windows 7 and later, Red Hat Linux, and macOS 10.8 or later.
