The Song Meter SM4TS is specially designed to help scientists triangulate the location of vocalizing animals. Delivering all the features of the industry standard Song Meter SM4, the SM4TS is a modified SM4 recorder that utilizes a sophisticated GPS time-sync receiver to synchronize the clocks on multiple recorders to within one millisecond.
Third-party software is required to conduct triangulation calculations. Batteries and flash cards sold separately.
